Heard Your Pregnant. Whore

Soooo, this card has caused so much controversy. Oh, come on people loosen up have a sense of humor. Ok, so we are in a world we have a hit show called 16 and Pregnant and they can continually cast new seasons of the show. Also when your teens can name at least one girl or guy who has a kid I'm not saying that teenage moms are whores I'm just saying that if this card was going to made it should be made in this day and age. This card brings light to the situation. Not only for young kids giving to their friends but it would definently be funnier if the person is married or in committed relationship and your best friend gives you this card. I'm not saying that only people who are married or in a committed relationship aren't whores but if your pregnant in general and one of your friends gives you this card anyone with a sense of humor is going to laugh. My personal opinion when walk down the street you hear people answer the phone saying "Hey Whore", "Sup Bitch", and no one really blinks an eye can we just say anyone who gets angry over this card has no life. People who have no lives get riled over small things like that, here's the thing. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY IT. It really irritates me when people get pissed over stuff that doesn't involve them. I bet you the same people that are mad about this card are the same people who wanted to crucify Miley Cyrus because they said she was pole dancing when she was clearly standing there holding a pole not to fall. Some people just make things bigger than what it is. Another key thing, most people don't care if the card is on the shelves we will still shop at target. LOL

Top 10 Stars of 2012

So guys I did this in 2011 and a few people actually did breakout Emma stone, Mila Kunis, Diggy Simmons, Bridgett Mendler, and Willow Smith plus the others on my list I kind of kind can't seem to remeber right now. So here are my predictions for the top ten stars of 2012.

#1 Jessica Chastain
A few years ago you probally wouldn't have known who she is but she closed 2011 with two major films "The Help", and "The Debt". She really shows her acting skills and that she is more than just a pretty face. I can't wait to see what she is doing this year.

#2.Kinna Granis

I did a review on Kinna awhile ago and the review has been getting more than twenty six views a day now which may not sound like a lot but for a post that's older than 3 months. She has been dubbed the youtube queen getting more than 2 million views on her in your arms video. She has been featured on MTV. With the release of her album stairwells I think 2012 will be a great year for her.

#3 Thomas Horn

This young boy has only been in one film but the film stars power Houses Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks. I think in 2012 he will be cast in more films and will really establish his name in Hollywood.

#4 Kendal Jenner

I predict this year Kendall will prove that she is not just a Kardashian sister she can definently stand on her own. She has been on the cover of a few Magazines, and had a few campaigns. Not to mention her own E special to her sweet 16. 2012 just might be her year.

#5 Amber Heard
Amber heard is the face of guess and she just starred in a film with Johnny Depp. She has the classic Hollywood look that seems to be slowly but surely coming back into the industry. She does things sort of under the radar so you have to be really looking for her and I definently will be looking for her this year.

#6 Tess Thompson
Though her last big movie role was in 2010 in "For Colored girls", she has still been working in 2011 and I think she will keep popping up in 2012.

#7 The Mcclain sisters

Though China is the most famous sister I can see the other two catching up in 2012 Sierra and Lauryn have been featured in China's "Calling all the monsters", video. I can see the other sisters being able to stand on their own two feet in 2012.

#8 Lights
She's not well known yet but has a very loyal fan base and she has a very unique style of music that people are sure to catch on to in 2012 her futuristic beats should be the soundtrack to 2012.

#9 She and Him
I know Zooey Des Chanel is already a big star. Her band she and him is kind of underrated she is an extremely talented musician and singer and I think her music career is going to take off in 2012.
#10 HoneyHoney
I first found out about HoneyHoney at an Xavier Rudd concert when they were opening for him and I fell in love with them from first sight. I gushed about them in my Xavier Rudd concert Recap and then I featured them on their own episode of Artist of The World when they were opening for Christina Perri. They soon Headlined their own tour. HoneyHoney has been gradually gaining steam but has not let anything change who they are as a band. They succeeded in creating an album (BillyJack) that sounded like HoneyHoney which is extremely hard for a band to do that.

So guys this is my prediction for 2012 you all can agree or disagree but I think I'm right. LOL

Christmas Eve: Putting up the tree

I'm not sure what you all do but it really makes me angry when people pay to get their tree done it's like what's the point. I definently think putting up the tree as a family is something that needs to be done, Because it brings you all together. I mean the only time some families get together are for weddings, funerals and Holidays so I think the immediate family that is there needs to definently take the time put on some christmas carols and then turn it into a whole event. Life is short you shouldn't take one small thing for granted and celebrate the small things.

10 days left from christmas: Don't fight on christmas

The Title says everything don't fight on Christmas I don't care if your cousin stole your man or your nephew owes you money. Don't fight on christmas it's Jesus's Birthday even though Jesus wasn't born in December it's still his birthday. So, make peace wait until after christmas to air out your problems but everything will be fine if you have a little self control and not punch your brother in the face.

What age should you stop making a christmas list?

I really don't know the question but I'm 17 and I continue to make christmas list and I will probally continue to make christmas list until I graduate next year (OMG sounds os weird saying that). Should you continue to make them in college I think you should I actually think it is extremely important to make them in college because your not with your family so they can't see what you like so I do think you should make one but if your thirty one and you still live in your mothers house I guess you could it's a little but creepy but if your married and you have kids don't be coming to your parents with a list talking about you want the new Jordans. Sorry guys my opinion is my opinion.

Havoc Movie

Havoc movie poster

So I've been watching alot of movies lately and I recently watched this movie Havoc I was trying to find some movies like thirteen and Girl Interupted things like that. But when I read the description I kind of thought it would be something else. I thought the movie was trying to say that they are doing these things because their bored that was the basis of the movie the kids where bored and they needed to do things. Which I understand that being a teenager. being borde does lead to you doing some stupid stuff. So they created the gang because the girl Allison and the other people didn't have a family. I guess they were saying no matter which lifestyle you have you are always going to want something more until you actually find out what it is. In the beggining you see the kids fighting and winning and doing some minor stuff but then when they decide to take a trip to the rougher part of town they decide to get in with real gangsters and they try to join their gang, apart of their initiation you have to have roll a dice and they have to sleep with the number of guys on dice. The fact that they wanted to join the gang really confused me maybe they just thought it was all a game. Some people have compared this movie to thirteen but I think thirteen really depicted what teens do when they get into things like that. The white guys pretending to be gangsters kind of reminded of Malibu's most wanted. I thought Bijou Phillips did a good job portraying this complex character. In some ways you kind of think that she just wanted to be down with her friend but then when her friend told her she didn't have to do the initiation she kept going so it was kind of confusing why she wanted to continue. I thought the movie was kind of in complete I didn't get the end also I didn't understand the camera crew filming it was kind of random the whole make a documentary of our lives thing. I thought the writers did a great job writing and I thought the actors were great unlike some other teen movies where it's bad acting but the writing is awesome I thought it had the whole package I just didn't understand the characters and why they were doing these things. So I thought the movie makers did a great job making you think wow "These teens are stupid", but then you kind of understood why they were doing these things. So, I would give it probally 3 stars. I would recommend watching it so that you could form your own opinion on it.

So, you know that saying that halloween is for girls just to dress as sluts, I honestly don't see a problem with it I mean I don't want you to go so far but we all know that limit. I don't think theres a problem with girls dressing a little bit more skimpy on that one night. I mean come on what other night are you going to be able to do it without people judging you?

The place that changed my life

So guys I know it's kind of late seeing that I got back from France in July and it is now October lol. So I just wanted to talk about it. So if you don't know I got a scholarship this summer to go to France and study theater and with that program I got the opportunity to do a play entirely in french. So during the school year in my Freshman year as some of you know if you reed my blog I went to a performing arts school. Yes, but I was doing really well in French 2 so in my Sophomore year they decided to put me in Honors French 3 and I started to struggle with it so I was thinking "Hey I need to go to France this summer", and another voice on my shoulder said "Girl, your crazy there is no way you are not going to France", So my teacher told me about this program and it had a theater program and long story short I got to go to France and it was an amazing opportunity. So when I went to France I hadn't even stayed over a friends house before so the fact that I would be gone a month by myself in a foreign country was a little nerve racking. I stayed with a host family and the were extremely helpful. So the first day they came and picked me up from the train station my host sister wasn't used to my english so we couldn't communicate that well. But she was looking through my ipod and she goes "Justin Nozuka I know Justin Nozuka", and it turns out she loves ACDC, Aerosmith, Joan Jett and that's basically how we bonded throughout my stay. When I was in France I got to study Mime with a professional mime and that was a great experience. When I was at my last school I had movement for actors and I struggled with movement but in mime class I got to do emotion completely through movement and I learned how acting is through the core. I learned how much you have to commit to something because if you don't no one will believe it if you don't.I had so much fun with my mime teacher he was like "I will teach you French and you will teach me English", So I told him when Americans are ready to leave we say "Let's blow this popsicle stand", and he repeated it in his strong French accent it was great. He truly was a great person and teacher. So I got to stay in Avignon when the Avignon theater festival is and it was an experience I would like any artist to experience. I mean I love festivals but this was just me being a kid in a candy store. So it's just this place of creativity and performers on the street and vendors selling things and in the beginning of the festival we saw the parade they have to kick off the festival and it was amazing just to see them perform in the streets. My favorite play we saw was a play called "Duel", and yeah, it was amazing it was not really a play it was where these two musicians did songs and beats and things like that. Before we did the play we got to see a play at the comedy de Francais that was really colt see the different audience and how the plays were set up. Yeah, so the seats weren't really comfortable lol, but the acting was amazing so it was all good. After that we got to go to the Louvre and that was amazing I really got the image of the French culture. I saw the Mona Lisa and it was quite interesting because you see all of these people from all over the world come to see this painting. What is so special about this painting? She's not gorgeous she is pretty but average. So what makes this painting just so special? It was amazing to see because all of these people crowded around it smiling some people crying and it was just amazing to see. You don't have to be magnificent to change the world you just have to be yourself and the mystery of the woman may never be solved but whatever happens people will always wonder about the Mona Lisa. The next step was the play which was probally the hardest thing I will ever do in my acting career (if I get a chance to have an acting career) to do a play in a completely different language with a director that is a genius but speaks whole nother language than you do. He kept asking me qu'est tu fait? And I kept replying Je ne fait pas. It was an amazing experience and I am so happy I did it because the play the funnest play I have ever done. France was inexperience of a lifetime and I'm happy I had the time chance to go do it. I am truly blessed. I encourage you all before you go to college or while your in college to go to another country far away from everything you know and then I feel that you can get your goals straightened out and you can really find out the person that you are. I will hopefully be uploading a video of me and some of my pictures and add some more to my picture page. Thanks for reading my blog and please stay tuned for more things I am sorry I have not been updating my blog but I will try and make it more frequent but I will be adding more updates, book reviews, pictures, videos and stories.

East Coast Earthquake 2011

OMG Guys!Just experienced my first earthquake. I know some of you have already heard about the quake but I just wanted to give all of my loyal blog readers lol. My recap, well I was at the Dollar Tree (My favorite store because everything is a dollar) and when I went to the cashier the woman who was ringing up my stuff was from Japan and I guess she had been through one because before I even felt the ground moving she was like "Earthquake", under her breath and I was like "What?", and before it could register what she said the whole store started shaken and I could see the glass quivering and I was like standing there trying to figure out what to do, and by the time I could react it was over. On my way home I saw people out on the street the hospital was evacuated office building and things like that. So what does this mean? The west coast gets an earthquake? It was truly something I Know that I don't want to experience I plan to move to California LOL.

HoneyHoney

Hey guy's I haven't posted in a while but I am so excited about this post. You wanna know why? Because it's about my new favorite band honey. If you haven't heard about them you soon will. I first heard about HoneyHoney when I was writing the review for the Xavier Rudd concert you can read that at http://justme-michelah.blogspot.com/2011/05/xavier-rudd-concert-recap.html . They where featured on that blog post and I was completely blown away when I heard and saw them on stage, as soon as I saw them I knew they had to be on the series and now they are. I got the chance to interview them when they were playing at the 9:30 club opening for Christina Perri. I was allowed into their sound check and that was the first time I h

ad been in a sound check and I was surprised at how much time they spent just to get the sound right. Ben Jaffe came down from the stage and then lead us into back where we did the interview. They were so nice and so down to earth, Ben gave me a cupcake which was delicious and during the interview it seemed like they had a lot of fun. Well, I will let you be the judge of that. You can watch the interview by clicking the video page of this blog or by http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GjynfAZetc8.

Nikki Giovanni Interview

I'm sure you all have seen my other post about Nikki Giovanni But I had finals week and I didn't have much time to post I have 4 more finals but I wanted to take a moment and talk about the amazing and wonderful Ms. Nikki Giovanni. So, I got to interview her which was an experience that will be in my heart forever, and I don't want you to think that I am being dramatic when I say meeting this woman change my life because it honestly and truly did. I will tell you why it changed my life, because she gave me reassurance that there was nothing wrong with me, that being me was enough for the world and if it isn't than tell the world to kiss your behind. Just seeing her just being Nikki Giovanni and her being completely comfortable in her skin made it ok for me to be comfortable in my skin. Have you all read or heard that poem "Our deeps fear", by Marianne Williamson, when she says something like as we are liberated from our fear it automatically liberates others Nikki Giovanni is the definition of that. Ms. Nikki Giovanni is a famed poet and civil rights activist that now works as a teacher at Virginia Tech University. When we first got to her office she was not there yet and her friend and Professor of English at Virginia Tech Ms. Virginia Fowler met us up stairs and let us in Ms. Giovanni's office. When I got into her office I was reminded that this is the person I had been reading about and hearing about. When Ms. Giovanni arrived I she came in with a smile and said "Hello", I introduced myself and my cousin/camera person. We then started the interview and about twenty minutes into the interview my camera started beeping saying it was out of tape. when I tried to put in the new tape the camera said it would not except that tape and then I could feel the emotions seeping into my body like "OH NO, WHY ME?", but then I explained it to Ms. Giovanni and she was very understanding. We sat and talked after the interview and that was when I think I got the full impact of Wow, I'm talking to Nikki Giovanni. You can watch our interview by going to the video page or by clicking this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3Zyb61ucTE Part2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?
When talking to her I learned so much about being an artist and being a person and I think that is the most important thing that anyone could get from someone. I really think that I am starting to understand what an artist is, they are people that have a deeper understanding of the world because they cane feel it through all of their senses not just the ones they choose and I know a that Nikki Giovanni has defined being an artist and has opened that door for so many people and I am blessed to have been able to have met her.

what is something that nobody knows about you?

uuuummmm, I don't think anybody knows that I enjoy sleeping upside down in my bed I don't know why it just seems more IDK ummm comfortable.

ask me anything ,You know u wanna know my deepest darkest secrets

All eyes on you

as I tossed and turned unable to achieve sleep unable to control

anxiety unable to comprehend why
2Pac is not with us
if those who lived by the sword died by the sword there would be no
white men on earth
if those who lived on hatred died on hatred there would be no KKK
if those who lived by lies died by lies there would be nobody on wall
street in executive suites in academic offices instructing the young
don't tell me he got what he deserved he deserved a chariot and
the accolades of a grateful people
he deserved his life
it is as clear as a mountain stream as defining as a lightning strike
as terrifying as sun to vampires
2Pac told the truth

there were those who called it dirty gansta rap inciting there were
those who never wanted to be angry at the conditions but angry
at the messenger who report:
your kitchen has roaches your toilet
is overflowing your basement has so much water the rats are in the
living room
your house is in disorder

and 2Pac told you about it
what a beautiful boy graceful carriage melodic voice sharp wit intellectual
breadth what a beautiful boy to lose
not me never me I do not believe east coast west coast I saw
them murder Emmett Till I saw them murder Malcolm X I saw
them murder Martin Luther King I witnessed them shooting
Rap Brown I saw them beat LeRoi Jones I saw them fill their jails
I see them burning churches not me never me I do not believe
this is some sort of mouth action this is some sort of political
action and they picked well they picked the brightest freshest
fruit from the tallest tree what a beautiful boy
but he will not go away as Malcolm did not go away as Emmett
Till did not go away your shooting him will not take him from us
his spirit will fill our hearts his courage will strengthen us for the
challenge his truth will straighten our backbones
you know, Socrates had a mother she too watched her son drink
hemlock she too asked why but Socrates stood firm and would
not lie to save himself 2Pac has a mother the lovely Afeni had
to bury her son it is not right
it is not right this young warrior is cut down it is not right for
the old to bury the young it is not right
this generation mourns 2Pac as my generation mourned Till as we
all mourn Malcolm this wonderful young warrior
Sonia Sanchez said when she learned of his passing she walked all day
walking the beautiful warrior home to our ancestors I just cried as all
mothers cry for the beautiful boy who said he and Mike Tyson would
never be allowed to be free at the same time who told the truth about
them and who told the truth about us who is our beautiful warrior
there are those who wanted to make
him the problem who wanted
to believe if they silenced 2Pac all would be quiet on the ghetto
front there are those who testified that the problem wasn't the conditions
but the people talking about them
they took away band so the boys started scratching they took away
gym so the boys started break dancing the boys started rapping
cause they gave them the guns and the drugs but not the schools and
libraries
what a beautiful boy to lose
and we mourn 2Pac Shakur and we reach out to his mother and we
hug ourselves in sadness and shame
and we are compelled to ask:
R U Happy, Mz Tucker? 2Pac is gone
R U Happy?

Xavier Rudd concert Recap

The Xavier Rudd co
ncert was an experience let
me tell you. I always find it exciting t
o watch bands that open because they are so talented most of the time. The band that opened for Xavier Rudd was Honey Honey and they were amazing to watch. They had amazing chemistry the duo. The guitarist had seemed to be having a great time
playing and had a great time interacting with the
crowd. This band has great music and you should definently check them out:

Xavier Rudd took the stage afterHoney Honey, wearing his skinny jeans and
walking with bare feet. I was in the front when he first took the stage and I got kind of
pushed against the railing. I got to move below the stage in front of the railing so I could take pictures and that wasn't cramped at all. Then when the first three songs were over I had to fight my way through the crowed to get back to the railing and encountered a few attitudes along the way.
The Arena that he played in was packed so many people were dancing and singing along. His music was honestly speaking to my soul and there are very few people that I believe can do that. A girl behind me was singing and jumping and was almost moved to tears while she was screaming "I Love you Xavier". Xavier had like this coolness about him that allowed the crowed to feel what he was feeling. Also this man is truly talented he was playing like a gazillion instruments at the same time. I love people that challenge the word musician and he does that. He makes you question what a real musician is. Especially in his song "Messages", which is my favorite song. I hope you all get to go see him in concert because it truly was an amazing experience

I See Stars Interview

Hey guys I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while but I want to talk to you guys about the current episode of "Artist Of The World", Which features the amazing band "I See Stars", I interviewed "I See Stars", at this years Ap tour, which stopped in Washington, D.C . Before I interviewed the band I got to actually see the concert which is cool because I never really do that. I usually just interview the bands and then go home so this was a first for me. Yeah, so when I saw I see stars on stage it was an amazing experience to see how much passion their fans had for them. The entire venue was jumping up and down and singing along to their songs everyone knew all of the words. After they performed I got to get on their tour bus, and that's where we did the interview and it was sooooo much fun. You can go to the photo page on this blog or click http://justme-michelah.blogspot.com/p/pictures.html to see my picture with them. The band had some interesting things to say so I hope you check out the interview on my video page or click on the A.O.A tab and check out the series. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKkK4e0bI4M&feature=channel_video_title

AP Tour Recap

Hey guys I'm so excited to write this my interview series allows me to meet some really great people and have these amazing experiences. So tonight I got to go to AP Tour which was let me just say an experience.

The crowd was amazing to see that much passion from fans was really inspiring. I got there late so I missed The conditions and Versaemerge who I really wanted to see but let me tell you I was not disappointed. I see stars was who I saw first and they were amazing just the passion from them playing and the chemistry the guys had on stage. They did not let their age hinder them they performed as well if not better than other rock bands I have seen. I also got an interview with the band please stay tuned for that.

The next band I saw was drugs They had the crowd running and jumping and singing along that experience was so powerful to be apart of.

Over all to see the love these people had for their bands was mind boggling. The Black Veiled brides fans all came out dressed like the band I mean there was really dedication and the bands were really good they gave their fans just as much love as the fans gave them. I guess overall I would like to just say that these bands did not start of being big they worked for it. They know who they are and they stick to that and their fans love them because they are who they are, so if you have a dream I say don't stop go for it because eventually you will have people supporting you as well

Kina Grannis - Stairwells Review

I am so excited to be writing this review for this great album and this even greater artist. If you have not already heard about Ms. Kina Grannis she is someone you should get familiar with. Kina didn't have the typical way of building her confidence as a performer. While attending USC Kina would sing in stairwells. Like a lot of todays stars she joined youtube and made a video and entered a contest. A few months later her video for her song a message from your heart was aired during the Superbowl and she walked away with a record deal. This album I have to say is truly soothing her sweet tones and inspiring lyrics are easy on the ears. I really have to praise her as a songwriter, because listening to her song was like reading pages from her diary. The songs felt very personal. The first song on the album is "World in front of me", This song is rightfully the first song on the album because it makes you want to get out and face the world which isn't easy. The second song is "Message from your heart", which has awe inspiring lyrics such as

"Don't break me I bruise easily the source of both your love and misery", and "This is a message from your heart, your most devoted body part taking blood and making art", this song gives your heart a personality and makes you appreciate it a little bit more than you usually do. A song I also enjoyed was "Valentine" it is a song you would be listening to by yourself or your girlfriends just celebrating love whether you were in a relationship or not. I also enjoyed the song "Stars Falling Down", Overall all the songs on this album will put you in a different mood and you will enjoy every one of them. I highly recommend you buy this album which you can purchase at http://www.kinagrannis.com. Thank you guys so much for reading my review I hope you go buy her album because she is so talented.

Hey guys

So hey, hahaha. What's up I haven't really posted any really you know personal messages in awhile nor have I ever posted a personal message on youtube, but hopefully that will be in the works soon. I just wanted to give you an update on what's been going on with me. So at this point in my life I am about 2 and a half months away from finishing my Sophomore year and I am very excited about that. I have been having a blast this year. I have accomplished a lot of things I have wanted to do this year I am just a person with a lot of goals and sometimes I want to move to fast. So I have been having a blast with these interviews, just because I have been meeting some really great people and I have been learning a lot also I hope to be informing you guys a lot as well. I have been getting great feedback from everything and I read everything you all send me even if I don't get back to you. So tomorrow is audition day for me so I am hoping to do well at that. This year has really been a whirlwind for me I finished my first play that I have ever done from beginning to end and that was very exciting for me. I have always wanted to see if I could stick with something that long and now I know I can. In the mean time I have been working extremely hard on this interview series. So overall this has been a great year. Though sometimes we think things won't work out they do and that is the best thing about life.

You live once let them worry about theirs, you worry about yours, cause I got mine.

I just wanted to talk about this quote I read that I looked up from LiL wayne. I'm sorry I haven't been posting that much but I have been really busy, so please forgive me. This quote "you live once let them worry about theirs, you worry about yours, Cause I got mine.", I don't know but when I read it online it really made me think. I mean it is true we only live once so why are we worrying about what other people have. I think it comes from us not wanting one person on the next getting ahead of us. I think we should just worry about ourselves. While we worry about other people we are not working on how we can be better people and whether we care what that certain person has thats not really stopping them because they are already have theirs, we need to focus on "getting our live together". (shout out to Amber lol). So I just wanted to break down what I though LiL Wayne was talking about. This quote will be on my quote page with a lot of other words of wisdom.

Jonathan Cook Interview

On episode 5 of "Artist of The World", I had the pleasure of interviewing Jonathan from Forever The Sickest Kids. It was a very quick interview and he was very nice. Though it may be the shortest interview I have done it was the funnest experience. The interview was done on The tour bus and I was kind of crunched for time because I had to do something for school, afterwards so there were a few questions I would have liked to ask but I didn't. Though I had these short falls, I believe the interview was very informative for young band members so you all should check it out. Jonathan was very cool he was quite funny though I didn't catch on until I watched the interview. He was very insightful and you may not expect that from a rock and roll front man. You all should go to my video page to watch it or go to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsjwwEyEZ_o.

T.S. Eliot - Hollow men

I was in like the Justin Nozuka mood and I watched this video where he was saying how he wrote his song Hollow men based on this poem so I read this poem and I fell in love with it. So I hope you enjoy it and I challenge you to get inspired and create something.

I

We are the hollow men
We are the stuffed men
Leaning together
Headpiece filled with straw. Alas!
Our dried voices, when
We whisper together
Are quiet and meaningless
As wind in dry grass
Or rats' feet over broken glass
In our dry cellar

Shape without form, shade without colour,
Paralysed force, gesture without motion;

Those who have crossed
With direct eyes, to death's other Kingdom
Remember us -- if at all -- not as lost
Violent souls, but only
As the hollow men
The stuffed men.

II

Eyes I dare not meet in dreams
In death's dream kingdom
These do not appear:
There, the eyes are
Sunlight on a broken column
There, is a tree swinging
And voices are
In the wind's singing
More distant and more solemn
Than a fading star.

Let me be no nearer
In death's dream kingdom
Let me also wear
Such deliberate disguises
Rat's coat, crowskin, crossed staves
In a field
Behaving as the wind behaves
No nearer --

Not that final meeting
In the twilight kingdom

III

This is the dead land
This is cactus land
Here the stone images
Are raised, here they receive
The supplication of a dead man's hand
Under the twinkle of a fading star.

Is it like this
In death's other kingdom
Waking alone
At the hour when we are
Trembling with tenderness
Lips that would kiss
Form prayers to broken stone.

IV

The eyes are not here
There are no eyes here
In this valley of dying stars
In this hollow valley
This broken jaw of our lost kingdoms

In this last of meeting places
We grope together
And avoid speech
Gathered on this beach of the tumid river

Sightless, unless
The eyes reappear
As the perpetual star
Multifoliate rose
Of death's twilight kingdom
The hope only
Of empty men.

V

Here we go round the prickly pear
Prickly pear prickly pear
Here we go round the prickly pear
At five o'clock in the morning.

Between the idea
And the reality
Between the motion
And the act
Falls the Shadow

For Thine is the Kingdom

Between the conception
And the creation
Between the emotion
And the response
Falls the Shadow

Life is very long

Between the desire
And the spasm
Between the potency
And the existence
Between the essence
And the descent
Falls the Shadow

For Thine is the Kingdom

For Thine is
Life is
For Thine is the

This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.

Justin Nozuka interview

Hello World Again, so I have the honor to put Justin Nozuka on my blog. I got the amazing opportunity to interview Justin at his show at the 9:30 club right before his show. I had to leave school early to do it but it was worth it. When I arrived at the club I was actually 45 minutes early, so me and my cousin/ camerawoman had to sit on these little stools by the door and wait for 45 minutes, but actually I am glad I got to do that because I got to hear his sound check and it sounded just like the concert I had seen a few months ago. So finally after the waiting was over Justin came out greeted us and he was very polite. He asked me was I cold and would I mind going out side of course I said " Sure, let's go outside", when we got outside we saw this crowd of people waiting to get into the concert. So Justin turns around with this surprise look on his face and says "Wow, there's a crowd let's go around here", and gestures to the other side of the building and we move quite swiftly to the other side of the building. The interview was very interesting he was a very intuitive person to talk to. He had a lot to say and gave a lot of information in the interview. Justin has gotten so many hits online and has been asked by major record labels to sign with them but he has turned them down because he knows what he wants to do with his music and he wants to have to have control over how he sounds. You have to have respect for someone like that. Though he has turned down many opportunities that he felt like were not for him, he has mad his own. He now is doing a duet with the amazing India Arie and he has now been nominated for a Juno award. He is on my Artist of 2011 to watch out for and I think you should definitely look out for him.You all should definitely tune into episode 3 of "Artist of The World", you can find it hear if you go to the video page on this blog or you can go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7q6hY1kNwYY. To watch it.
To stay in tuned with Justin and what he is doing you can go to many of his websites.

Whooh that was a lot lol, I hope you all enjoy the blog post and the interview. We have 9 more episodes left in the 1st season of "Artist of the world", so stay tuned in.
