The Lovely Bones Movie review

So to follow up on the book review I watched the movie and yes, I had watched the movie before reading the book and then I read the book and then watched the movie. I Really enjoyed the movie a lot more than the book just because the movie was more entertaining. I don't think the movie was not very book accurate because unless you read the book you wouldn't have known that Susie Salmon got raped which made his murders more intense in away. To talk about the actors obviously the star of the movie was Stanley Tucci who plays Mr. Harvey. Some people may disagree but I think the way he made the character mysterious and how you don't really hate Mr. Harvey you just found him to be sick and twisted but yet you wonder why he's doing what he's doing. Saoirse Ronan who plays Susie Salmon Was stunning in her role she really showed the purity of this young girl who was taken from the world without a reason. In the book I think Susie was portrayed as really young and I think in the movie she was good in saying oh yeah I'm fourteen and I'm not crazy but I'm not extremely innocent. Mark Wahlberg showed a different side of his acting in the book the Father is very loving but in someway he seems to just go crazy when his daughter dies. I the Mark Wahlberg didn't play him like that I could see reasoning behind his actions he didn't seem like some crazy mourning dad. This movie really deserves all the hype that it got.

Michelah's book club #3:The Lovely Bones book review

So, guys I have like 60 books that I have bought and that I will try and finish throughout the summer, so let's start with this book The lovely bones now a major motion picture. This book started out kind of slow kind of hard to get into but once I got into I was kind of hooked granted I didn't read this book everyday it still was a good book. I like the way the book was written in a way of letting us know who the murderer was at the begging therefore the anticipation of him being caught was even larger then trying to figure out who the murderer was throughout the book. Alice Sebold is a very dramatic writer she really takes the time to paint a picture with her words. I definently recommend this book to people who aren't afraid of shedding a tear.
