SO, I recently finished this book (like two seconds ago) and the book was a reading assignment but I never read during the summer when I was about to start my Freshman year. As I said before I have a bunch of books and I try to read books at the right time in my life where I feel like it is going to mean the most for me. At this point in my life I am going to be a senior in High School I have one more year to really hone my craft in the comfort of home until I am pushed out into the comfort of a dorm room. I am embarking on a new part of my career in creating my own play for my senior project and I am creating my own interview series that I want to reach out to people around the world I think reading this book was perfect timing. I read this book not really as a story but more of a how to guide. I had my red pen in hand every time I read High lighting every thing I thought was interesting. The book really gives you an inside look of the life of an Artist. Unlike how to be an actor books the book is about Artistry in all it's glory do you have to be alienated to be an artist? Why do I see the world the way I do? All of these questions were answered in this book. If you are an artist you should read this book if you're not an artist you should read this book. It doesn't only talk about art it talks about being open to the world in more ways that one, and just being present in life.
